Fekri Baroshi was born in Iraqi occupied Kurdistan in 1974. Having devoted most of his life to music and art, he began devoting his craft to cinema and television in 1999. He worked for the satellite network Kurdistan TV where he produced many award winning short films and documentaries during a period of five years. He later shifted his attention towards film and has worked with renowned Kurdish directors such as Anwar Sindi and Hunar Salim. Fekri is currently developing his first feature film.
